"Liese" is about made in 1966 by Krahmer in the former GDR. She is 14 " (35 cm) tall. Head made of lime wood, hand-carved and hand-painted. Body made of natural materials, handmade. Blue eyes, dark brown hair. Liese is wearing original clothes made in 1966 by Krahmer.
This old wooden dolls are rarities for experts:
Dressed according to the fashion of that time, Liese has been presented at the international Doll Fair in Leipzig in 1966.
Today, these dolls are hard to get and the state they are in is often
pitiable. Nevertheless collectors chase after dolls from this generation, in
order to have at least one of these nostalgic Krahmer Children in their
collection. Liese has been part of a private doll collection since 1966.
